These are the terms and conditions for using The Vino Beano website to purchase products. All orders placed will be subject to them unless alternative and explicit arrangements have been agreed in writing between The Vino Beano and the buyer, in advance.


These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights, however, The Vino Beano, which is incorporated inEnglandandWalesis also not liable for any failure to meet our obligations occasioned by circumstances beyond our control.

These terms and conditions and any contract made, shall be construed and operated in accordance with English law. Any dispute or claim arising from using this website must also be made and settled under English law.


Unless otherwise stated all The Vino Beano prices are quoted in pounds Sterling excluding VAT and indicate if the UK Duty has been paid.

In order to purchase via The Vino Beano website you must be of the required legal purchase age to buy any alcoholic beverages within your country of access or residence.


All payments are either payable on completion of transaction or are due 30 days after the invoice date unless otherwise stated or agreed in writing between The Vino Beano and the buyer.

All wines remain the property of The Vino Beano until paid for in full.

You can make arrangements to pay for and transfer the necessary funds either via this site, by phoning our office, by email or by post. And note that we accept most major credit and debit cards including Visa, Mastercard, Switch/Maestro.

The Vino Beano also reserves the right to charge interest at 5% above Barclays Bank plc base rate on any overdue accounts.


Wines bought In Bond for storage will typically not include duty and VAT and can be stored by our independent storage company for which an annual fee per case will be incurred. The current cost for this is £10.50 ex-VAT per case, per annum. If you decide to take delivery of your wines then the duty and VAT at the prevailing Government rates will be payable prior to release. Arrangements can also be made to transfer your wines to an alternative independent storage company but please note that fees, transportation and management costs, which will be agreed in advance, will be incurred. Delivery of all goods will be made to the address(es) specified in the buyer’s order and transportation costs will be advised, agreed and paid for in advance. Every effort will also be made to get the wines to you as quickly as possible but please note that it could take up to seven working days, depending on where in theUKyou are located, or longer if outside theUK.


You undertake to inspect all wines on collection or immediately after delivery and to inform The Vino Beano or the appointed shipper immediately of any short supply, damage or other related issue. You will also be deemed to have accepted the wines as fulfilling your order, without issue, five working days after collection/delivery, and thereafter will not be entitled to reject wines for any reason.

If incorrect goods are delivered The Vino Beano will either refund or replace the incorrect goods on return of the cases in question. Please inform us within five working days.


The Vino Beano has made every effort to ensure the accuracy of all information on this website.
